From So. Cal. to Snow to give Thanks

Lacey and the girls came the Monday before Thanksgiving to have some cousin time. It was non-stop action and lots of fun. All the kids sitting at once, take a picture it doesn't happen often

Craft Time...
Thanksgiving Day at my parents house on the farm. My cousin Lindsay brought all the supplies to make a felt wreath ornament. I will have to take a picture of mine and post it really cute!
(Aunt Karla, Mom, Char Char((Hadens soon to be wife)), Haden and me...Where Lindsay the craft organizer is I do not know)

Lacey reading to Hailey the Turkey and Tessa

My Aunt Karla and Lindsay made these cute light up corns with tissue paper and an old plastic water bottle, to Cute!

Lacey is hooked on puzzles so we went and bought one. The whole time she was like this puzzle is going to be to easy, the pieces are to big. It was not easy at all. but we conquered it! Funny story... Thanksgiving night Toys R Us started their black Friday sale at 10pm. Lacey was like lets go check it out. I was being a party poop er but she got me out of the house. As we are driving to the store there is this line of people going over the freeway over pass, down the back of the stores, around the side of Toys R Us and up the front, police cars were present making sure not to many people entered the store at once. CRAZY, we were laughing, go check it out if you want to wait in line for 3 hours just to get into the store. never shopped black friday and probably never will.

Our moms made us take a picture every year just like this when we were little and big. There was 7 of them and 4 of us. They would line us up oldest to youngest; so while we couldn't manage oldest to youngest at least we got a picture minus Trent. And more!!!!

I am coaching basketball at Rogers High School with Bri, Amy, and Jessie. Amy put together a version of The Amazing Race for the Varsity girls; one stop of the race was at my house. They had to put together a tutu, hair clip, and decorate a shirt for Brooklyn to wear to the games. The team who arrived 2nd at my house left first. And the 3rd place team(3 teams total) at my house finished 1st!!! Brooklyn loved helping me get ready for "The Girls" to come over. Once they left she had a little fun in the puff paints.

Going to the Cabin

Bri and Phil invited us to The Cabin. No kids, just Phil, Bri, Nate and I. We said goodbye to the kids(thanks Mom and Dad)around 5pm and hit the road. We stopped in Buckley for a dinner, went to the grocery store for some breakfast items and of course a few treats. Got Starbucks and went through McDonald's for me to have a little ice cream and headed up the mountain. We sat and talked and read magazines by the fire. Played scrabble, never played and it was really fun. The next morning we did the same all over with a walk to the river where Phil had made a tepee a year or two ago and it was still standing! Thank you Bri and Phil for a wonderful time!!!

Trick or Treat...Smarties are her favorite treat

Just a cute picture of Brooklyn wanting to hold Trent at the Table.

Our Halloween journey started at some friends house for a little get together with all the kids. They had fun playing with the toys and each other. Cami was not a witch but she really liked this hat and I couldn't resist this picture of her!

Trent my little lion hear him roar...

Introducing Brooklyn the bumble bee, she likes the tools. My first attempt at a costume . I took my inspiration from the costumes my Grandma use to make us. We were all a bumble bee at one point or another

Trent was shaking that rattle!

Little Delaney Raye (sorry Erin if the spelling is wrong)

Then we went home to see Gigi, Papa, Auntie Karla, and Tammy and hand out Candy. Some friends stopped by... Marcus, Reese, Drew and Brooklyn. Marcus (David and Erica McNicols little guy for those who know them) lives in our neighborhood so Brooklyn went out trick or treating with them. It was a blast.

Such great kids

Marcus slipped up this step and he turns around to us right away and says, "I'm ok!" Such a tough football player!

Cami's Grandparents live in our neighborhood so we stopped by to pick up Cami. Denise had a special bag of treats for Brooklyn when she arrived, so sweet!

We finally made it back home. Brooklyn's hat and antenna's were off by then and we had had the prefect amount of trick or treating. Cami the little lady bug was still going strong!
