We finally made it to California. After a cancelled flight and hours on the telephone with the airlines we made it out Christmas Eve night. We had a wonderful time with Nate's family, the highlight certainly getting to meet Blake. Nate got sick Christmas day (really sick) then I got sick the next day, followed by Nate's dad. It was nasty stuff. I have even caught wind that Todd may have gotten it today and Addison had it a couple days ago. Due to the sickness Janet's family did not come down for the weekend. While we missed seeing them, it was still a very nice visit filled with lots of fun movies in the theatre room, relaxation, and one round of golf for Nate. Nothing can keep him away from that!
Christmas with the Whittingtons. This is at a really cool new place called The Fountains (I think). The weather was really nice. Sunny and cool.
Brooklyn and Blake. Yes, Brooklyn is older, by almost 2 months, but Blake has got her in weight and length. We loved getting to meet him. He is a great baby, full of smiles and coo's. We just love them!!!

Brooklyn had lots of fun at Grandma and Grandpa Whittingtons. SMILE!!!

Auntie Ashley with Addison and Brooklyn in Anthropologie. They were so patient and good, mommy can kind of get a little carried away in her favorite store!

Addison was soooo sweet to Brooklyn. She loved her! Addison would bring Brooklyn her toys and Blanket and play with her. I can't believe how tall Addison is, such a doll.

White Christmas take 2

This video was taken last night. The snow is sooo beautiful but has certainly put a damper on our Christmas plans. We were suppose to fly to California this morning to spend Christmas with the Whittingtons, but our flight was cancelled. I have been trying to call all night and morning to get another flight but can't get through. I e-mailed and they e-mailed me back and told me they would contact me in the next 5 days. WOW! Super 5 days what in the world. We have about 10-12 inches of snow. Last night I put the ruler in and we had a little over 7 and it snowed for many hours after that. So more snow in the forcast for tonight we will see what happens!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas!

The snow has continued to come and apparently has no ideas of stopping. The temperatures are supppose to reach all of 29 degrees for the high tomorrow and apparently there is another system moving in. We have about 3 inches, which may not seem like much for some, but for us is alot, especially this time of year. With no rain or warm weather in the near future we are planning on enjoying God's Christmas gift to us here in Washington. I love the snow, everything is quiet and still when it snows, it is like God saying stop and take a look at my creation and greatness. I just love it!
A dear friend of Nate's family, Patty Robbinson, made this hat for Brooklyn. I adore it! She has been wearing it out in the cold weather.

Brooklyn is despertly wanting to be mobile. I am not sure I am ready for it, but I don't think she cares.

"Ok every one say Chesse" yeah right! Brooklyn and all her buddies. They are all girls, except Kase whom we love dearly, and all born three weeks apart. Brooklyn (#1), Sophia (#4), Kase(actually #1), Camden(Cami) (#3), Hailey (#2), and Isabella (Bella) (#5).

Lakers

Brooklyn's favorite toy has been her Laker basketball. Nate is thrilled and already thinks Brooklyn has picked her favorite team. How great it would be for him to have some support up here in Washington for the Lakers.

Steam Roller

I know I have posted a lot of Haden's football pictures but I just love this picture, so I promise here is the last one. Haden sings this steam roller song that the team sings back to him before every game. I wish I had it on video so cool, but this picture will have to do.

Mommy's little helper

We started putting up our Christmas decorations on Sunday. Brooklyn loves the lights and shinny bulbs. We had lots of fun!

College days are over

We love #52! Cousin Logan, Lacey, Haden, Jorden, and girlfriend Charolette. Haden was selected to the all conference team. I believe he was two tackels short of leading the conference even dispite not playing in two games due to a torn hamstring. What a season... a broken jaw and a torn hamstring.

An end to yet another great season of football and an end of an era for the Gienger kids and sports. Well possibly, Haden has been contacted by the European league to go play, we will see. Next year we may be flying over seas to watch him, fine by me!
#52 cheering section

Sleeping Princess

Brooklyn is 4 months old. She loves her princess skirt, at least loves grabbing it and trying to put it in her mouth. She is now rolling over all the time, but is not in love with being on her tummy. O how fast they change.

Harvest Time

The Whittingtons were in town this weekend for Brooklyn's first Halloween. We had yummy soup and handed out candy. I love seeinig the costums. Thankfully the scary ones were few and far between. We had a family dressed up as toy story, soooo cute.

Pumpkin Patch

Lacey and I took Hailey and Brooklyn to the pumpkin patch, lets just say it is way more fun for us then them. Some day though!!! We love our little pumpkins.

Springer

John was visiting, actually working, in Washington a week and half ago and we got the privilege of him staying with us for some of the time. Brooklyn was smitten with John. Where ever I would take her, her head would swivel towards John. She smiled and smiled at him!

My Buddy

Hailey and Brooklyn living the life of leisure together.

Indiana to Washington

A night spent with good friends, what could be more refreshing! Erin was in town visiting from Indiana and all the Washington girls met her and went for dinner. As Karen said, It is amazing no matter how much time passes that when friends are linked by the common bond of Christ it is like we were still in college spending every day together, sooo amazing and such a blessing! It was so great to get to see Drew again, he has grown up so much. Drake is as precious as can be, I am so glad we got to meet him. What a special treat to have Erin in town!!!

10 1/2 weeks

Brooklyn sleeping with her froggy/bunny. She thinks it is really funny and laughs at it. Brooklyn was playing under her toy and Cameron got under there with her and was hitting things around, Brooklyn couldn't take her eyes off him. Brooklyn and Nate. She loves when dad comes home from work, so does Nate!

Got Steak?

After the football game we went to a steak restaurant with the team. It is known for its BIG steaks, it is a annual stop for the team. In the picture one of the guys sitting by us got a 40 ounce steak and killed the whole thing, not to mention there was onion rings, salad, baked potato's, bread and so on. One of the guys on the team got a 63 ounce steak or something like that. Wish I would have gotten a picture of that. Headen lead the team in one of their songs. I wish I had it on video. Maybe next time. We seriously ROLLED out of the restaurant.

Broken Jaw

This Saturday we headed down to Portland Oregon to watch Haden play football at Lewis and Clark. Brooklyn was a champ and slept the whole way. Haden had another amazing game and the team got a big win!!! Last game Haden hurt is jaw, come to find out he broke it. Other then the games, he has this contraption in his mouth that keeps it totally shut. I can't believe he is playing, so tuff!!! Brooklyn is sporting her PLU hat and sweats, gotta love it. Go LUTES!!!

Football seasons is here!!!

My brother Haden is in his last season of football. He plays for Pacific Lutheran University here is Washington. It is so nice to have him close so that we can catch all his games. Haden played awesome last game, while the team fell short, Haden had 10 tackels, a fumble recovery, and an interception. Way to go Haden!!!

We love our cousins

My sister Lacey had a baby girl on August 7th. Her name is Hailey Ruth, she weighed 5lbs 9oz, 19 1/2" long. It has been so awesome having her close by to hang out with and go through the wonderful world of motherhood with. Brooklyn and Hailey don't know what is going on yet, but we know they will be the best of pals. Devon loves to hold Brooklyn. He is a natural. Cameron holds her just long enough to give her kisses and get back to playing. Nates brother Todd just had a little boy, Blake, we have yet to meet him but he is as precious as can be. My sister is due the end of November with yet another cousin. We love our growing extended family!
