Recap of last two months

Brooklyn bundled up to go play outside. Boy does she LOVE to be outside!
Brooklyn is a wonderful helper. She loves helping me cook. She helped me roll out the pizza dough and put on the pepperoni.

Roll um'

Nate and I were in the kitchen when we started hearing Brooklyn just jabbering away. We look over and she is sitting like this on the couch, with the phone between her ear and shoulder just talking away. Pretty funny.

I have been feeling pretty sick due to pregnancy and not motivated to put up Christmas decorations. Nate and Brooklyn decided to be my little elves, without me even asking, and put up some of the Christmas decorations. I will post the after pictures soon of how it all turned out. I finally got up to putting on the final touches and I must say while it isn't exactly how I would have done it, it looks very festive and warm and cozy.

I love, LOVE this picture of Hailey and Brooklyn. They are really funny together and while yes they take things from each other and still hit each other sometimes they love each other and find each other pretty funny!

Give Thanks to the Lord for He is good, His Love Endures Forever

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Whittington's. Fred's five brothers and sisters were all there, along with their kids and their kids. I can't remember the total but I believe there was around 50 some people there. Let's just say there was never a dull moment. I can't believe with all the pictures taken I do not have one of the whole group or the beautiful tables and food but somehow i missed out.
Nate and his dad putting together a toy!

Brooklyn loves the big kids. She just made herself at home on Caeden's lap.

Brooklyn was VERY excited at the airport. She loved looking at the planes. She would say "airplane" "airplane"
Blake going up the dirty hill in his Thanksgiving outfit. Gotta love it!

Brooklyn has decided that she can feed herself now, so lets just say it doesn't all get inside the mouth. She is getting pretty good though.

Brooklyn and Blake going down the hill. Brooklyn had grass stains on her tights. I am learning to let go of cleanliness.

Just one reason to be Thankful!

A visit from my Cousin Blake

Nate's brother, Todd, his wife Laurel and son Blake came to visit us back in October. We had tons of fun going to the pumpkin patch, park, university village and much more! Brooklyn, Hailey and Blake all wanted to sit on Uncle Nate's lap one night before bed. So sweet!

Blake and Brooklyn looking down stairs through the railings. They just giggled and laughed.

Blake getting his p-jammer's on! What a cute boy!

Blake and Brooklyn at the park, going down the slide

Brooklyn getting her p-jammers on. Tickle, tickle!

Brooklyn and Blake took turns pushing each other all over on the train. So much fun!

Little Tessa Rae-just in time!!!

I know I am a little behind on posting. This no computer thing is a bummer. Anyhow my adorable neice was born September 12, 2009. And here is her story....Lacey says on the night before,"I am having contractions about 8-10 min apart." Jorden says,"Are you going in." Lacey says,"not yet I don't want to go to early." Jorden says,"call me when you are going in and have Anthon text me when you get all checked into the hospital and I will come." I am expecting a call at around 12:00am with the way Laceys contractions are going. I wake up at 6:00am and am thinking Lacey did not call me what happened??? I text Lacey do you want McDonalds egg mcmuffin??? Lacey text back "no way gross." She loves egg mcmuffins. I get a text a short time later. Lacey text,"we are going in text you when we get checked in." the hospital is 30 min away. 15 min later...Anthon texts,"You better get in your car and come right now." Jorden text back,"I am on my way right now." I literally grab my purse and run out the door. I am driving like a mad woman. Come to find out not as mad as Anthon was driving while Lacey was about to give birth in the car. I get to the hospital running full speed get to the front desk and the lady looks at me like I am crazy. I said my sister is in labor. She says whats her name? "Lacey Brueggeman." OOOOO I will not ask you the questions I am suppose to ask she says, you better hurry I have never seen any one in that much labor before....
about 30 min later, sweet Tessa Rae Brueggeman came into the world. I made it just in time. Or should I say Lacey made it just in time!!!
Uncle Nate and Tessa. What a wonderful surprise you were Tessa. Another sweet baby girl!

First Bath!

Big Girl!

My dear friend Bri offered her amazing house with the picture perfect tree and fall leaves to us to get a few pictures of Brooklyn. She also took the pictures, thank you Bri!!! Brooklyn loves flowers she will hold on to them for hours if you let her and she wants everyone to smell them. This is truely a picture of her!
My love for fall never wavers. It is amazes me how God brings his creation to its most beautiful point before taking it away for the winter's chill. And then come spring new life emerges. I love seasons!
Brooklyn loves to help with any chore! She loves doing dishes, vacuuming, wiping down cupboards and counters, etc. So go figure she didn't want to play in the leaves she just wanted to rake them!
This picture captures Brooklyn's look perfectly. SO Sweet!

Nate planned a wonderful surprise party for her and many friends and family were there to celebrate! Lacey also organized a wonderful group gift and bought Jorden a sweet beach cruiser bicycle. Happy Birtday Jorden!! We love you!

As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the coutenance of his friend."-Prov. 27:17

Another reunion trip with the TMC basketball team. It always feels weird to say that because yes we all played basketball together but it is just so much more. We are friends. We honestly love each other, we honestly want success for one another, we honestly want God's blessings to be poured out on each other and we honestly LOVE each other. O and we honestly laugh so hard because while some might not think we are funny we honestly find each other amusing.

Our annual porch picture!!!
Silly camp fire picture. We love chatting, acting silly, and roasting smores!

We were the first 4 to arrive. All stars- Reesie, KG, and Erin all skied that night. brrrr seriously to cold for me.

Thought this was a really cute picture taken at dinner.

fun tubing pic!

Porch picture minus Jen. It was so exciting when she got to the restaurant.

The beautiful vineyard, the lake is behind us also but you can't see it in the picture.

I just had to put this picture of Tori tubing because she goes tubing with us even though I know it is not her favorite. You are awesome Tori!

Liz came out of Walmart with this shirt and sweats on. Everyone loved it so we all went back in and got Lake Chelan shirts. We spent the next hour or two hanging out and taking pics in Walmarts parking lot. Notice it is light in this picture and not so light in the others. I guess we can have fun anywhere!

Still at Walmart

Getting ice cream at Lakeview, its the BEST!

We tried and tried and tried to get a group jumping pic. I had to post one of one of the many attempts. At least this one we got Liz jumping.

I'm ONE!!!!

Brooklyn turned One of the 15th of July. I continue to be in awe of the special blessing that she is. We are grateful to God for her in so many ways. It was a long journey for Nate and I to get pregnant with her, it is hard to believe we were almost at the end of our road of thinking that we could have a child and now here we are with a one year old. I will never forget the day she was born, Nate held her up and said it's a girl! O the joy!!! Praise the Lord, His works are truely mighty!

Two very sweet girls!

I had to add this picture. My little baller! Actually it is amazing when you have your own children because the world is seen through such different perspectives. I don't care if she has two left feet and can't hit the broad side of a barn. You really realize that all that matters is that she loves Jesus and longs to serve Him with whatever gifts, however big or small they are, that He grants her.

She didn't like her cake. She did however love to touch the cookies Tam Tam made for her!

Kisses, kisses, and more kisses. Brooklyn and Hailey are on a kick that they love kissing each other. They kiss and then kiss some more! To Cute!

Aunt Karla, cousin Logan, and Gigi

This picture is perfect because she would not eat her cake. She tightened up those lips and would not open up for anything. My aunt Karla tried to put some on her lips so she would lick them and be like O this is good. Nope, nice try.

This is how she felt about the cake!

Smile!

Party time!

Funny story, would be funnier if I had a picture of the cake my Grandma made me next to it but anyways... My grandma made me a rainbow cake for one of my birthdays. I LOVED it so I thought I would try my hand at it for Brooklyn. First mistake was using angel food cake, it kind of sunk, or really did sink, to fluffy. My raindow jellybeans look like a mess. I am not a cake maker, yicks. I tried. I wish you could see the one my grandma made me, it was so cool.

She liked to touch the Jelly Beans

Opening presents!

Hailey likes the Patty Cake song her Grandma Brueggeman taught her. it is really cute because she likes to do the rollem' part. Auntie Karla and Hailey!

Horray for ONE!
