I'm ONE!!!!

Brooklyn turned One of the 15th of July. I continue to be in awe of the special blessing that she is. We are grateful to God for her in so many ways. It was a long journey for Nate and I to get pregnant with her, it is hard to believe we were almost at the end of our road of thinking that we could have a child and now here we are with a one year old. I will never forget the day she was born, Nate held her up and said it's a girl! O the joy!!! Praise the Lord, His works are truely mighty!

Two very sweet girls!

I had to add this picture. My little baller! Actually it is amazing when you have your own children because the world is seen through such different perspectives. I don't care if she has two left feet and can't hit the broad side of a barn. You really realize that all that matters is that she loves Jesus and longs to serve Him with whatever gifts, however big or small they are, that He grants her.

She didn't like her cake. She did however love to touch the cookies Tam Tam made for her!

Kisses, kisses, and more kisses. Brooklyn and Hailey are on a kick that they love kissing each other. They kiss and then kiss some more! To Cute!

Aunt Karla, cousin Logan, and Gigi

This picture is perfect because she would not eat her cake. She tightened up those lips and would not open up for anything. My aunt Karla tried to put some on her lips so she would lick them and be like O this is good. Nope, nice try.

This is how she felt about the cake!

Smile!

Party time!

Funny story, would be funnier if I had a picture of the cake my Grandma made me next to it but anyways... My grandma made me a rainbow cake for one of my birthdays. I LOVED it so I thought I would try my hand at it for Brooklyn. First mistake was using angel food cake, it kind of sunk, or really did sink, to fluffy. My raindow jellybeans look like a mess. I am not a cake maker, yicks. I tried. I wish you could see the one my grandma made me, it was so cool.

She liked to touch the Jelly Beans

Opening presents!

Hailey likes the Patty Cake song her Grandma Brueggeman taught her. it is really cute because she likes to do the rollem' part. Auntie Karla and Hailey!

Horray for ONE!

I love that the Lord gave you Brooklyn, what a gift the Lord has given you while here on earth! And it gets better and better (but with a little dose of attitude) :) Love to you friend and your big one year old!
