Resurrection Sunday Part 2
We had a wonderful Easter lunch full of lots of family and friends. Haden invited four of his teammates that were away from home. Reminded me of the days in Auburn California with Molly's family and the big Easter Egg Hunt. We didn't have an Easter Egg Hunt but we decorated eggs. Hope that counts. Hailey and Brooklyn looked really cute and were the center of the festivities. Thanks to Sara, Brooklyn had an Easter dress. I used her idea of the pillow case dress and made Brooklyn a dress out of some fabric. Worked wonderful, thanks Sara! I love sewing. Happy Easter!!!
Happy Resurrection Sunday
I trust everyone had a wonderful Sunday once again finding great awe in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4,"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" I truely love thinking about the empty tomb. What a wonderful God we serve.
The bunny bread. I found this quite amusing. Mabye I need to get out more often!
Just some of the wonderfully creative eggs that were decorated on Easter Sunday.
I just love the tulips, they bring much needed color back into our lives this time of year.
Daffodils are the first sign around here that winter is nearing to an end. The yellow buds slowy begin to open and give us hope for the possiblity of sunshine sometime in the near future. Janet bought me this adorable orange bird and nest. Add a few colored eggs and you have the perfect holiday decoration!

Grandma & Grandpa Whittington in town!!!
Brooklyn loves to stand and walk around holding on to things. She comes crashing down when she lets go. But O how fun it is to be standing on feet. Much better than that crawling thing, which she still refuses to do.
Brooklyn LOVED having her Grandma and Grandpa Whittington in town. We had tons of fun. She loved all the attention she got, what a treat!!! Brooklyn loves giving open mouth kisses these days, she had plenty of them for her Grandma.
